As a creative person, I often find myself falling into DIY projects for my own needs and for others. While I'm not on the level of doing things like electrical work, I can do a mean faux stone wall, make a lamp, or set up a decent home theater.
I frequently search for answers to everyday questions online. Yes, I am a "Google University" alum, and am participating in continuing education.
This week I thought it would be interesting to share my Google searches. To be fully transparent, this post was supposed to be published near the end of 2023.

Did you hit the streets for the holidays? Me? Lolol oh, absolutely NOT. I saw the new year in from the comfort of home. With champagne glass in hand, I opened the vertical blinds of the back porch wide, turned off all the lights, kicked up my feet, then enjoyed fireworks courtesy of my neighbors...
As a creative, a lot of my projects go through the "ca ca" stage (not my word- a classmate once used that to describe my project back in art school). I'm at peace with that, especially on those occasions where the finished work turns out better than I even planned.
The long, painful writer's strike that had Hollywood on hold has finally come to an end. Here in Georgia, that means many everyday people will be back to an industry that has been growing here for years now.
I'm not flabbergasted anymore. I don't freak out anymore when I realize it's the week of Thanksgiving. Time marches on, and if we care to, we can make the most of it.
Here we are in mid-November, and I'm sorta just going with the current. Not really feeling super festive, but not exactly in Ebenezer Scrooge mode either.
