Heart Felt

 I recently created some goodies especially for my youngest niece. I actually started with one project in mind, but in the process of assembling materials, another one emerged...

This is that little "side quest". While rummaging through my felt stash to use in a paper mache piggy bank, I was hit with another idea. The piggy bank process is posted on my YouTube channel. 

The other was a felt bookmark made to look like one of her favorite characters, Peppa Pig. I saw the colors, grabbed some scissors, and she just emerged.

Surprisingly, it didn't take long to create (especially compared to the paper mache bank, which was a bit more elaborate). 

I cut out an elongated version to make a functional bookmark. 

Thanks to the character's clean, simple design, it was easy to create. And it was a hit with my niece. She loved it.
