As an artist, commissioned work has served as both a learning opportunity and a proving ground. In my business, where I offer both original creations envisioned by me and custom commissioned pieces, I sometimes provide "off the menu" options.

Because I'm a multimedia artist, my horizons can stretch far and wide once a client's vision comes into play. I've been approached by both individuals and organizations to create things I never imagined. |

On this sometimes new ground, I learn new things and am often inspired by the client's original concept. It's like walking into a restaurant and asking the chef to prepare something a little different using exciting new ingredients (DON'T do this unless you know it's an option).
Drawing from the unique tapestry of my creative background has enabled me to be flexible and spread my artistic wings to undertake techniques I might once have considered outside my scope. Yes, I do sometimes accept commissions in which I would be navigating uncharted territory. But that's where the growth (and the magic) happens.

Where some requests once intimidated me, most now present exciting challenges- the next milestone on my creative journey. And I'm ready.
